Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed financial analysis and modeling for investment grade clients
  • Assist in structuring and executing debt financing transactions, including bonds and loans
  • Prepare pitch books, credit memos, and presentation materials for senior management
  • Perform due diligence on corporate borrowers and market research on credit trends
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support deal origination and execution
  • Monitor portfolio performance and provide ongoing client advisory services
  • Contribute to regulatory compliance and risk assessment processes
  • Support senior bankers in client meetings and negotiations
  • Analyze market data to identify financing opportunities in investment grade sectors
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions and client interactions in internal systems

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or leveraged finance
  • Strong understanding of investment grade credit markets and financial modeling
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • U.S. work authorization without sponsorship required

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree in Finance
  • Prior internship or full-time experience at a bulge-bracket investment bank
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg or Capital IQ terminals
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses
  • Experience in syndicated loans or bond issuance
