Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with investment grade corporate clients, identifying opportunities for debt financing solutions
  • Lead the structuring, negotiation, and execution of investment grade bond issuances, syndicated loans, and other debt products
  • Collaborate with internal teams including sales, trading, and risk management to deliver comprehensive financing strategies
  • Conduct detailed financial modeling, credit analysis, and due diligence to support transaction recommendations
  • Advise clients on market trends, interest rate environments, and optimal capital structure decisions
  • Contribute to pitch book preparation and client presentations to secure new mandates
  • Monitor portfolio performance and provide ongoing support for existing client financings
  • Ensure compliance with JPMorgan Chase's risk management policies and regulatory standards
  • Mentor junior bankers and contribute to team development within the Investment Banking division
  • Stay abreast of industry developments and integrate innovative financing solutions tailored to client needs

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 7-10 years of experience in investment banking, particularly in investment grade finance or corporate finance
  • Proven track record in originating and executing investment grade debt transactions, including bonds and syndicated loans
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, credit analysis, and regulatory requirements in the U.S. financial services sector
  • Excellent client relationship management skills with experience serving Fortune 500 companies
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses or equivalent FINRA registrations required
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment at a leading global financial institution like JPMorgan Chase

  • Experience in leveraged finance or high-yield markets as a complement to investment grade expertise
  • Prior roles at bulge-bracket investment banks with a focus on capital markets
