Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and valuation modeling for technology sector M&A transactions
  • Prepare detailed pitch books, teasers, and confidential information memorandums (CIMs) for client presentations
  • Collaborate with senior bankers to develop strategic recommendations and execute deal processes from origination to closing
  • Perform due diligence on target companies, including financial, operational, and market assessments
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including legal, compliance, and industry specialists, to ensure seamless transaction execution
  • Monitor technology industry trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory developments to inform client advice
  • Support business development efforts by identifying potential M&A opportunities in the tech space
  • Manage junior analysts and contribute to team training and mentoring
  • Ensure all deliverables meet JP Morgan's high standards of accuracy and professionalism

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, M&A advisory, or corporate finance, with a focus on technology sector deals
  • Strong understanding of financial modeling, valuation techniques, and M&A transaction processes
  • Proven track record of supporting or leading M&A transactions in the technology industry
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and market trends
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses or willingness to obtain them
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience at a bulge-bracket investment bank or Big Four advisory firm
  • Deep knowledge of technology sub-sectors such as software, SaaS, fintech, or semiconductors
  • Prior involvement in cross-border M&A deals involving tech companies
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases like Capital IQ or Bloomberg
  • CFA charterholder or progress toward certification
