Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and build detailed valuation models for mid-cap clients
  • Assist in preparing pitch books, confidential information memorandums (CIMs), and marketing materials
  • Coordinate due diligence processes and manage data rooms for M&A transactions
  • Support senior bankers in client meetings, negotiations, and deal structuring
  • Perform market research and competitive analysis to identify acquisition targets or strategic opportunities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including legal, compliance, and industry specialists
  • Monitor deal progress and ensure timely execution of transactions
  • Contribute to business development efforts by identifying potential mid-cap clients
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal JPMorgan policies

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, preferably in mid-cap transactions
  • Strong understanding of financial modeling, valuation techniques, and M&A processes
  • Proven track record in deal execution within the financial services industry
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses or willingness to obtain them

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience at a bulge bracket or boutique investment bank focusing on mid-cap deals
  • Prior involvement in cross-border transactions or industry-specific advisory (e.g., healthcare, technology)
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial software tools
  • CFA designation or progress toward completion
