About the Role

J.P. Morgan's Investment Banking division in Stockholm is seeking a motivated Analyst or Associate to join our Nordics Coverage team. This role focuses on providing strategic advisory services to leading corporations, financial sponsors, and institutions across the Nordic region, with a particular emphasis on the Swedish market. Key Responsibilities

  • Support senior bankers in pitching and executing M&A, capital raising, and advisory transactions for Nordics-based clients
  • Conduct financial analysis, including modeling, valuation, and scenario planning for corporate clients in sectors like industrials, energy, and technology
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the Nordics region
  • Prepare pitch books, teasers, and other marketing materials tailored to Swedish and regional market dynamics
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams across J.P. Morgan's global network to deliver integrated solutions
  • Monitor market trends, industry developments, and competitive landscapes in the Nordics
  • Assist in due diligence processes and transaction structuring for deals involving Swedish corporates
  • Contribute to business development efforts, including identifying new opportunities in the region
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements in Sweden and the EU

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in investment banking, financial services, or corporate finance
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, particularly in the Nordics region
  • Fluency in English and Swedish (written and spoken)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Authorization to work in Sweden without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or Master's degree in Finance or related discipline
  • Prior experience in Nordics coverage or cross-border M&A transactions
