Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed financial analysis and modeling for technology sector clients, including DCF, LBO, and comparable company valuations
  • Assist in preparing pitch books, confidential information memorandums (CIMs), and presentation materials for M&A and financing deals
  • Perform market research on technology trends, competitors, and industry dynamics to support deal origination
  • Support senior bankers in client meetings, due diligence processes, and transaction execution
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute mergers, acquisitions, and capital market transactions
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance of portfolio companies in the technology space
  • Contribute to the development of strategic advisory services tailored to tech startups and established firms
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk management protocols
  • Participate in business development activities to identify new opportunities in the technology sector

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited university
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in investment banking, financial analysis, or a related field within the technology sector
  • Strong understanding of financial modeling, valuation techniques, and market analysis
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases such as Bloomberg or Capital IQ
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree in a quantitative field
  • Prior internship or full-time experience at a bulge-bracket investment bank
  • Knowledge of technology industry trends, including software, hardware, and SaaS sectors
