Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute M&A transactions for clients in the innovation economy, including deal origination, structuring, and negotiation
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, investors, and stakeholders in technology, media, and emerging sectors
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, valuation, and modeling to support advisory services and pitch materials
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across J.P. Morgan's global network to deliver integrated solutions
  • Prepare and present detailed market research, sector reports, and strategic recommendations to senior management and clients
  • Manage due diligence processes, regulatory filings, and transaction closings in compliance with UK and EU regulations
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation within the EMEA team
  • Identify new business opportunities and contribute to the growth of J.P. Morgan's Innovation Economy M&A franchise in London
  • Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory changes, and innovation disruptions to provide forward-looking advice

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in investment banking, M&A advisory, or related roles within the financial services industry
  • Proven track record in executing M&A transactions in the innovation economy sectors such as technology, media, telecom, healthcare, or fintech
  • Strong understanding of financial modeling, valuation techniques, and deal structuring in a global context
  • Excellent command of English; fluency in additional European languages is advantageous
  • Ability to obtain necessary regulatory approvals and work in the UK (e.g., eligibility for FCA authorization)
