Key Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end client operations for investment middle office services, including trade confirmation, settlement, and reconciliation processes
  • Act as a key point of contact for institutional clients, addressing inquiries and resolving operational issues promptly
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal JP Morgan policies in the APAC region
  • Collaborate with front office, back office, and technology teams to optimize client service delivery
  • Perform daily portfolio valuations, performance reporting, and data analysis for client accounts
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks, implementing controls to enhance efficiency
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives within Securities Services
  • Prepare and deliver client reports, including NAV calculations and fee reconciliations
  • Support ad-hoc projects related to new client onboarding and system integrations
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with JP Morgan's global standards

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in middle office operations, client services, or securities services within the financial industry
  • Strong understanding of investment operations, including trade lifecycle, settlements, and reconciliations
  • Proficiency in financial regulations and compliance standards relevant to Australian and global markets
  • Experience with client-facing roles in asset management or investment banking
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with attention to detail
  • Fluency in English; additional languages such as Mandarin or Cantonese are advantageous for APAC client interactions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certification such as CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or equivalent
  • Prior experience at a global investment bank like JP Morgan Chase
  • Knowledge of JP Morgan's proprietary systems or similar platforms like Aladdin or Bloomberg
  • Experience in managing client portfolios in equities, fixed income, or derivatives
  • Demonstrated project management skills in operational enhancements
