Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with agile teams to design, develop, and deploy Java-based services for the JPMC Public Cloud Atlas Platform
• Enhance and maintain core marketplace functionalities, ensuring scalability and performance in a cloud-native environment
• Implement secure, resilient cloud solutions that support JPMC's financial services ecosystem
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to deliver high-quality software
• Integrate third-party services and APIs to expand marketplace capabilities for internal and external users
• Monitor and optimize system performance, troubleshooting issues in production environments
• Contribute to the evolution of the Atlas Platform by incorporating emerging cloud technologies
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal security policies in all development activities
• Mentor junior engineers and foster knowledge sharing within the team

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software engineering with a focus on Java development
• Proven experience in cloud computing platforms, particularly public cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in agile teams
• Experience in building and maintaining scalable, high-availability systems in a financial services environment
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards relevant to financial institutions (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS)

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Fundamentals)
• Experience with microservices architecture and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
• Prior work in the financial services industry, particularly with trading or marketplace platforms
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab

• Proficiency in Java programming and related frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot, Hibernate)
• Expertise in public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native development
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures
