Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor multiple software engineering teams in developing robust Java and Python-based applications for JP Morgan Chase's financial platforms
• Oversee day-to-day implementation activities, ensuring alignment with project timelines and quality standards
• Set strategic guidance for team output, engineering practices, and fostering collaboration across departments
• Design and deploy scalable solutions on AWS infrastructure to support secure financial transactions and data processing
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and stakeholders to define technical roadmaps for banking and investment services
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal security protocols in all development efforts
• Drive innovation in areas like real-time analytics and cloud-native architectures to enhance client experiences
• Conduct code reviews, performance optimizations, and risk assessments for mission-critical systems
• Manage resource allocation, budgeting, and vendor partnerships for engineering initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 8+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on Java and Python development
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing engineering teams in a financial services environment
• Proven expertise in AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, and container orchestration
• Strong understanding of financial systems, data security, and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, SOX)
• Experience leading agile methodologies and cross-functional team collaborations
• Ability to obtain necessary security clearances for handling sensitive financial data

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
