Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams to design and develop innovative software solutions for JP Morgan Chase's financial products
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented Java code to build secure and scalable applications
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high standards of quality and performance
• Integrate applications with financial systems, APIs, and databases while adhering to security protocols
• Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance
• Identify and resolve technical issues in real-time trading or risk management platforms
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and apply them to enhance JP Morgan's market-leading technology stack
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs in the financial services sector and translate them into technical solutions
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal security policies in all development activities
• Mentor junior team members and promote best practices in software engineering

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 2-4 years of professional experience in software development with a focus on Java
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in agile teams
• Proficiency in building secure and scalable applications in the financial services domain
• Experience with relational databases and SQL
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a global team environment
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, reliable code

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the financial services industry, particularly with banking or trading systems
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
