Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth analysis of public and proprietary data to develop sector-specific insights for JP Morgan's Equity Research team
• Build and maintain sophisticated financial models to forecast company performance and valuation metrics
• Collaborate with senior analysts and stakeholders to produce high-quality research reports and presentations
• Monitor market trends, economic indicators, and company developments to provide timely recommendations
• Support the Global Research Center in Mumbai by contributing to cross-regional research initiatives
• Interact with institutional clients and internal teams to disseminate research findings and gather feedback
• Ensure compliance with JP Morgan's research standards, regulatory requirements, and ethical guidelines
• Assist in mentoring junior team members and contributing to knowledge-sharing sessions
• Leverage advanced analytics to identify investment opportunities and risks in equity markets
• Participate in sector-specific events and due diligence processes to enhance research depth

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in equity research, financial analysis, or a similar role within the financial services industry
• Strong understanding of financial markets, equity valuation, and sector-specific dynamics
• Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools
• Excellent command of English, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment in Mumbai
• Relevant certifications such as CFA Level 1 or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (MBA or Master's in Finance) from a recognized institution
• Prior experience at a top-tier investment bank or research firm like JP Morgan Chase
• Knowledge of Indian and global equity markets, including regulatory frameworks
• Experience with Bloomberg, FactSet, or similar financial databases
• Fluency in additional languages such as Hindi for stakeholder interactions in India
