Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of Active Trade Desk professionals to ensure seamless trade execution for equities, mutual funds, and derivatives
  • Oversee daily operations of the trading desk, including order routing, execution, and settlement processes
  • Provide exceptional client service by resolving complex trade inquiries and delivering timely market insights
  • Implement and monitor risk management protocols to mitigate trading risks and ensure compliance with J.P. Morgan standards
  • Collaborate with Wealth Management advisors to align trading strategies with client investment goals
  • Analyze market trends and performance metrics to optimize desk efficiency and execution quality
  • Develop and execute training programs for team members on trading best practices and regulatory updates
  • Liaise with internal partners such as compliance, operations, and technology teams to enhance desk capabilities
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to support J.P. Morgan's commitment to client-centric innovation

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in financial services, with a focus on trade execution and client servicing in wealth management
  • Series 7 and Series 63 licenses required
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams in high-volume trading environments
  • Strong understanding of equities, mutual funds, and derivatives markets
  • Excellent knowledge of regulatory requirements including SEC, FINRA, and MSRB rules

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MBA) or CFA certification
  • Experience in J.P. Morgan's Wealth Management division or similar high-net-worth client services
  • Prior role in risk management or compliance within a trading desk
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg terminals and order management systems
