Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans tailored to individual client needs, including investment, retirement, and estate planning
  • Engage with the Oakland community through local events, workshops, and networking to build awareness of J.P. Morgan Wealth Management services
  • Prospect and acquire new clients from diverse backgrounds, focusing on underserved or community-based segments
  • Provide ongoing portfolio management, performance reviews, and adjustments to align with client goals and market conditions
  • Collaborate with branch teams, specialists, and partners to deliver holistic wealth management solutions
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including FINRA and SEC guidelines, while maintaining accurate client records

  • Monitor economic trends and market developments to advise clients proactively on opportunities and risks
  • Foster long-term client relationships by delivering exceptional service and personalized advice

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field
  • Active Series 7 and 66 (or 63 and 65) securities licenses, or willingness to obtain within 120 days of hire
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial advisory, wealth management, or client-facing roles in the financial services industry
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships in diverse communities
  • Strong understanding of financial planning principles, investment strategies, and regulatory compliance
  • Ability to work independently in a branch environment while collaborating with local teams
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the Oakland community for events

Preferred Qualifications
