Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic direction and execution of lending initiatives within J.P. Morgan Wealth Management to drive growth and profitability
  • Oversee the development and implementation of lending products tailored to high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients
  • Collaborate with divisional leaders, advisors, and product teams to integrate lending solutions into comprehensive wealth management strategies
  • Monitor and manage credit risk, portfolio performance, and compliance with J.P. Morgan's risk management frameworks
  • Build and mentor a high-performing team of lending professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and client needs to identify opportunities for lending expansion
  • Drive business development efforts, including client acquisition and retention through targeted lending advisory services
  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory standards and internal policies while optimizing operational efficiency
  • Report on key performance metrics to senior leadership and contribute to the overall J.P. Morgan Wealth Management strategy

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in lending, wealth management, or financial services, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and profitability in lending products within a high-net-worth client segment
  • Deep knowledge of regulatory requirements in wealth management lending, including SEC, FINRA, and banking regulations
  • Strong understanding of capital markets, credit risk assessment, and portfolio management in the financial services industry
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in a large financial institution, with a focus on strategic initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

  • Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses or equivalent
  • Prior experience at a bulge-bracket firm like J.P. Morgan Chase in wealth management or investment banking
  • Master's degree in Finance or CFA designation
  • Demonstrated success in expanding lending portfolios for ultra-high-net-worth clients
