Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized financial planning and investment advice to high-net-worth individuals and families in Alameda, CA, and surrounding areas
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with private clients, identifying opportunities to deepen engagement with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management services
  • Conduct comprehensive needs assessments, including retirement planning, estate strategies, tax optimization, and risk management
  • Collaborate with J.P. Morgan specialists in banking, lending, and investment banking to deliver holistic wealth solutions
  • Prospect and acquire new clients through networking, referrals, and community involvement in the local market
  • Ensure all advisory activities comply with FINRA, SEC, and internal J.P. Morgan policies
  • Monitor client portfolios and market conditions to adjust strategies proactively
  • Educate clients on J.P. Morgan's suite of products, including brokerage accounts, alternative investments, and philanthropic advisory
  • Participate in branch-based team meetings and contribute to the overall growth of the Alameda office

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field
  • Active and valid Series 7 and Series 66 (or equivalent) securities licenses
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial advisory, wealth management, or client-facing roles within the financial services industry
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships in a high-net-worth environment
  • Strong understanding of comprehensive financial planning, investment strategies, and regulatory compliance
  • Ability to work independently in a branch-based setting while collaborating with J.P. Morgan teams
  • Clean regulatory history with no U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) or Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) violations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certifications such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
  • Experience working with affluent clients in the Bay Area or similar markets
