Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized financial planning and investment advice to individuals and families, focusing on wealth accumulation, preservation, and transfer
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with private clients through regular consultations and proactive outreach
  • Conduct comprehensive financial needs assessments, including retirement planning, estate strategies, and tax optimization
  • Recommend and implement suitable investment portfolios using J.P. Morgan's suite of products and services
  • Collaborate with internal partners, such as bankers and specialists, to deliver holistic wealth management solutions
  • Ensure all advisory activities comply with J.P. Morgan's policies, FINRA, and SEC regulations
  • Prospect for new clients within the Bend, OR community through networking, referrals, and local events
  • Monitor client portfolios and market conditions to adjust strategies and mitigate risks

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field
  • Active and valid Series 7 and Series 66 (or equivalent) licenses
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial advisory, wealth management, or client-facing roles
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships in a financial services environment
  • Strong understanding of investment products, financial planning, and regulatory compliance
  • Ability to work independently in a branch-based setting while collaborating with team members
  • Clean background check and compliance with FINRA and SEC regulations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certifications such as CFP (Certified Financial Planner) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst)
  • Experience working with high-net-worth individuals or families in the Pacific Northwest region
