Your role will involve conducting in-depth client consultations to assess financial needs, recommending diversified investment solutions from J.P. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized financial planning and investment advice to high-net-worth individuals and families in the Berkeley and surrounding areas
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients to understand their financial goals and risk tolerance
  • Conduct comprehensive financial reviews, including retirement planning, estate planning, and tax strategies
  • Recommend and implement tailored investment portfolios using J.P. Morgan's suite of wealth management products
  • Prospect for new clients through community engagement, referrals, and branch-based networking in Walnut Creek, CA
  • Collaborate with J.P. Morgan teams, including bankers and specialists, to deliver holistic wealth solutions
  • Ensure all advisory activities comply with J.P. Morgan's ethical standards and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor client portfolios and provide ongoing performance updates and adjustments
  • Educate clients on market trends, economic factors, and J.P. Morgan's research insights
  • Contribute to branch goals by driving client acquisition and asset growth in the region

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field
  • Active and valid Series 7 and Series 66 (or equivalent) licenses
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial advisory, wealth management, or client-facing roles
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships in a high-net-worth environment
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, investment strategies, and regulatory compliance
  • Ability to work in a branch-based setting in Berkeley, CA, and surrounding areas
  • Clean background check and compliance with FINRA and SEC regulations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certifications such as CFP (Certified Financial Planner) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst)
  • Experience working with J.P. Morgan Chase or similar large financial institutions
  • Bilingual proficiency, particularly in Spanish or other languages common in the Bay Area
