Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized financial planning and investment advice to individuals and families, focusing on their unique goals and risk profiles

  • Conduct client meetings in the Birmingham branch, both in-person and virtually, to review portfolios and adjust plans as needed
  • Ensure all advisory services comply with SEC, FINRA, and internal J.P. Morgan policies
  • Prospect for new clients within the local Birmingham community through networking, referrals, and branch events
  • Monitor market trends and economic conditions to keep clients informed and optimize their portfolios
  • Document client interactions and maintain accurate records in J.P. Morgan's CRM systems
  • Contribute to branch goals by supporting team efforts in client acquisition and retention

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field
  • Active and valid Series 7 and Series 66 (or 63 and 65) licenses
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial advisory, wealth management, or client-facing roles
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships in a financial services environment
  • Strong understanding of investment products, financial planning, and regulatory compliance
  • Ability to work in a branch-based setting and collaborate with team members

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation
  • Experience working with high-net-worth individuals and families
  • Advanced degree such as MBA or Master's in Finance
  • Familiarity with J.P. Morgan's wealth management platforms and tools
