Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with private clients by providing personalized financial planning and investment advice
  • Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to recommend tailored wealth management solutions, including retirement planning, estate strategies, and portfolio management
  • Prospect and acquire new clients within the Central Illinois community through networking, referrals, and branch-based initiatives
  • Collaborate with J.P. Morgan specialists in banking, lending, and investment banking to deliver holistic financial services
  • Monitor client portfolios and market conditions to adjust strategies and ensure alignment with client goals
  • Ensure all advisory activities comply with SEC, FINRA, and internal J.P. Morgan policies
  • Educate clients on J.P. Morgan's suite of products, including Chase Wealth Management and J.P. Morgan Private Bank offerings
  • Participate in local community events to build brand awareness and generate leads in Springfield, IL
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions using J.P. Morgan's CRM systems

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field
  • Active and valid Series 7 and Series 66 (or 63 and 65) licenses
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial advisory or wealth management roles
  • Proven track record of client acquisition and retention in a branch-based environment
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, investment strategies, and regulatory compliance
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with branch teams in Central Illinois

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation
  • Experience working with high-net-worth individuals and families in the Midwest region
  • Advanced degree such as MBA or Master's in Finance
