Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with private clients by providing personalized financial planning and investment advice tailored to their unique needs
  • Conduct comprehensive financial assessments, including retirement planning, estate strategies, and tax-efficient investment portfolios
  • Prospect and acquire new clients through branch networking, referrals, and community engagement in the Chicago Northwest area
  • Collaborate with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management teams to deliver holistic solutions, including access to banking, lending, and alternative investments
  • Monitor client portfolios, execute trades, and adjust strategies based on market conditions and client goals
  • Ensure all advisory activities comply with J.P. Morgan's ethical standards, FINRA regulations, and internal policies
  • Educate clients on J.P. Morgan's suite of wealth management products, such as Chase Private Client services and J.P. Morgan Investment Management funds
  • Track and report on client satisfaction metrics and business development goals to senior management
  • Participate in branch events and professional development to enhance client advisory capabilities
  • Leverage digital tools and CRM systems to streamline client interactions and maintain accurate records

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field
  • Active and valid Series 7 and Series 66 (or 63 and 65) licenses, or ability to obtain within 120 days of hire
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial services, wealth management, or client advisory roles
  • Proven track record of client relationship management and achieving sales targets in a branch-based environment
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, investment strategies, and regulatory compliance in the wealth management industry
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, branch office setting in Chicago's Cook County Northwest area
  • Clean background check and compliance with FINRA and SEC regulations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certifications such as CFP (Certified Financial Planner) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst)
  • Experience with high-net-worth individuals and families in the Chicago market
