Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect, acquire, and retain high-value clients within the Portage Park and greater Chicago community through networking and referrals
  • Conduct regular client reviews and meetings to adjust financial plans based on life changes, market conditions, and performance
  • Collaborate with J.P. Morgan specialists in banking, lending, and investment banking to deliver holistic solutions
  • Ensure all advisory activities comply with J.P. Morgan's ethical standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field
  • Active and valid Series 7 and Series 66 (or 63 and 65) securities licenses
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial advisory, wealth management, or client-facing roles in the financial services industry
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships leading to asset growth
  • Strong understanding of comprehensive financial planning, including investment strategies, retirement planning, and estate planning
  • Ability to work in a branch-based environment in Chicago, IL, with flexibility for local client meetings
  • Compliance with FINRA and SEC regulations, including background check and fingerprinting requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certifications such as CFP (Certified Financial Planner) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst)
  • Experience working with high-net-worth individuals and families in the Midwest market
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, given the diverse community in Portage Park, Chicago
