Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with private clients in the Detroit Corktown community through personalized financial planning

  • Actively participate in local community events, workshops, and initiatives to build brand awareness and trust in J.P. Morgan Wealth Management
  • Identify and prospect new clients within the community center and surrounding areas, focusing on underserved populations
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored financial solutions aligned with J.P. Morgan's high standards
  • Conduct regular client reviews and adjust financial plans based on market conditions and client needs
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and J.P. Morgan policies in client interactions
  • Organize and host educational seminars on financial literacy to engage the local Detroit community
  • Monitor portfolio performance and provide proactive advice to optimize client outcomes
  • Foster partnerships with local organizations to promote financial inclusion and community development

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field
  • Active Series 7 and 66 (or equivalent) securities licenses
  • At least 3 years of experience in financial advising or wealth management
  • Proven track record in client relationship management within the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of comprehensive financial planning principles
  • Ability to engage with diverse community groups and local organizations
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the Detroit area

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in finance or CFP certification
