Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with high-net-worth individuals and families in the Houston area
  • Provide comprehensive financial planning, including investment advice, retirement strategies, and estate planning
  • Conduct client meetings to assess financial goals, risk tolerance, and recommend tailored solutions from J.P. Morgan's suite of products
  • Prospect and acquire new clients through networking, referrals, and community involvement in the Gulf Coast/Southeast region
  • Collaborate with J.P. Morgan teams, including investment specialists and bankers, to deliver holistic wealth management services
  • Monitor client portfolios and adjust strategies based on market conditions and life events
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and J.P. Morgan's internal policies
  • Educate clients on J.P. Morgan's digital tools and resources for self-directed wealth management
  • Participate in branch events and initiatives to grow the Private Client Advisor practice

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field
  • Active Series 7 and Series 66 (or 63 and 65) securities licenses
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial advisory, wealth management, or client-facing roles
  • Valid life insurance license and ability to obtain additional state-specific licenses
  • Proven track record of client relationship management and asset gathering
  • Strong understanding of financial planning principles and investment products
  • Ability to work in a branch-based environment in Houston, TX

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree such as MBA or CFP certification
  • Experience in the Gulf Coast or Southeast markets
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish to serve diverse client bases
