Key to success in this position is your ability to prospect and engage new clients through local networking, referrals, and branch interactions while deepening relationships with existing ones. You will conduct in-depth financial assessments, recommend personalized portfolios from J.P. Morgan's diverse offerings—including mutual funds, ETFs, and alternative investments—and ensure all recommendations adhere to the highest standards of fiduciary responsibility. Collaboration with J.P. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized financial planning and investment advice to high-net-worth individuals and families in the Islip, NY branch

  • Prospect, acquire, and retain clients through networking, referrals, and community engagement in the local area
  • Conduct financial reviews, portfolio analyses, and performance reporting using J.P. Morgan tools
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including bankers and specialists, to deliver holistic solutions
  • Ensure compliance with SEC, FINRA, and J.P. Morgan policies in all advisory activities
  • Educate clients on market trends, investment products, and J.P. Morgan's wealth management offerings
  • Monitor client portfolios and adjust strategies based on economic conditions and client needs
  • Drive business growth by identifying opportunities for asset consolidation and additional services
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in CRM systems for client interactions and transactions

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field
  • Active Series 7 and 66 (or 63 and 65) securities licenses
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial services, wealth management, or client advisory roles
  • Valid Life and Health insurance licenses
  • Strong understanding of financial planning principles, investment strategies, and regulatory requirements
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships in a branch-based environment
  • Ability to work in Islip, NY, and surrounding areas

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certifications such as CFP (Certified Financial Planner) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst)
