Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized financial planning and investment advice to individuals and families, focusing on wealth accumulation, preservation, and transfer
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with private clients in the Los Alamitos branch, identifying opportunities to deepen client engagement
  • Conduct comprehensive financial assessments, including risk tolerance analysis, retirement planning, and estate strategies
  • Collaborate with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management teams to deliver integrated solutions such as banking, lending, and investment products
  • Prospect for new clients through community networking, referrals, and branch-based events in Los Alamitos, CA
  • Ensure all advisory activities comply with J.P. Morgan's ethical standards, FINRA, and SEC regulations
  • Monitor client portfolios and market conditions to recommend timely adjustments and rebalancing
  • Educate clients on J.P. Morgan's suite of wealth management tools and digital platforms
  • Participate in branch goals for client acquisition and asset growth, contributing to team performance metrics
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, tax laws, and economic factors to enhance advisory services

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field
  • Active and valid Series 7 and Series 66 (or equivalent) securities licenses
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in financial advising, wealth management, or client-facing roles within the financial services industry
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships in a branch or advisory setting
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, investment strategies, and regulatory compliance
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced branch environment
  • Clean background check and compliance with FINRA and SEC regulations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certifications such as CFP (Certified Financial Planner) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst)
  • Experience working with high-net-worth individuals and families in wealth management
  • Bilingual proficiency, particularly in Spanish, to serve diverse client bases in Southern California
