Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized financial planning and investment advice to individuals and families, tailoring solutions to their unique goals and risk profiles
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with private clients through proactive outreach, regular reviews, and exceptional service in the Lubbock branch
  • Conduct comprehensive needs assessments, including retirement planning, estate strategies, and wealth preservation
  • Collaborate with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management teams to deliver integrated banking, lending, and investment products
  • Identify opportunities to grow client assets under management by recommending suitable J.P. Morgan investment vehicles
  • Ensure all advisory activities comply with SEC, FINRA, and internal J.P. Morgan policies
  • Educate clients on market trends, economic factors, and portfolio performance using J.P. Morgan's proprietary tools
  • Participate in community events and branch initiatives to enhance J.P. Morgan's presence in Lubbock, TX
  • Monitor client portfolios and adjust strategies based on life events or market changes

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field
  • Active and valid Series 7 and Series 66 (or equivalent) licenses
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial advising, wealth management, or client-facing roles within the financial services industry
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships in a branch-based environment
  • Strong understanding of comprehensive financial planning, investment strategies, and regulatory compliance
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with branch teams in a high-volume client service setting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certifications such as CFP (Certified Financial Planner) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst)
  • Experience working in a J.P. Morgan Chase branch or similar large financial institution
  • Bilingual proficiency, particularly in Spanish, to serve diverse client bases in Lubbock, TX
