Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized financial planning and investment advice to high-net-worth individuals and families in the Manhattan Downtown East area
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients, conducting regular reviews and adjusting strategies as needed
  • Identify client needs through comprehensive assessments and recommend J.P. Morgan Wealth Management solutions, including banking, lending, and investment products
  • Prospect and acquire new clients within the local community, leveraging branch events and networking in areas like Chatham Square and Union Square
  • Collaborate with branch teams and specialists to deliver holistic wealth management services
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including FINRA and SEC guidelines
  • Monitor market trends and economic conditions to advise clients on portfolio adjustments
  • Educate clients on J.P. Morgan's digital tools and resources for self-directed wealth management
  • Contribute to branch goals by driving asset growth and client satisfaction metrics

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field
  • Active and valid Series 7 and Series 66 (or 63 and 65) securities licenses
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial services, wealth management, or client advisory roles
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships in a high-net-worth environment
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, investment strategies, and regulatory compliance
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced branch environment in downtown Manhattan

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree such as MBA or CFP (Certified Financial Planner) certification
  • Experience with J.P. Morgan's wealth management products and platforms
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin or Cantonese, given the diverse Chinatown community
  • Previous success in generating new business and assets under management (AUM)
