Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized financial planning and investment advice to individuals and families, focusing on wealth accumulation, preservation, and transfer
  • Develop and implement tailored investment strategies using J.P. Morgan's suite of products, including equities, fixed income, and alternative investments
  • Conduct client meetings in the Memphis branch to assess financial goals, risk tolerance, and life circumstances
  • Prospect and acquire new clients through networking, referrals, and community engagement in the Memphis area
  • Monitor client portfolios and adjust recommendations based on market conditions and performance metrics
  • Collaborate with J.P. Morgan specialists in banking, lending, and estate planning to deliver holistic solutions
  • Ensure all advisory activities comply with J.P. Morgan's ethical standards and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and prepare reports on client assets under management

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field
  • Active and valid Series 7 and Series 66 (or equivalent) licenses
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial advising, wealth management, or client-facing roles in the financial services industry
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships leading to asset growth
  • Strong understanding of comprehensive financial planning, investment strategies, and risk management
  • Ability to work in a branch-based environment in Memphis, Tennessee, with flexibility for local travel
  • Compliance with FINRA and SEC regulations, including background check and fingerprinting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certifications such as CFP (Certified Financial Planner) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst)
  • Experience working with high-net-worth individuals and families in the Southeast region
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish to serve diverse Memphis clientele
