Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized financial planning and investment advice to high-net-worth individuals and families in the Mercer Island area
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients to understand their financial goals, risk tolerance, and life objectives
  • Conduct comprehensive financial reviews, including retirement planning, estate strategies, tax optimization, and philanthropy advising
  • Collaborate with J.P. Morgan specialists in banking, lending, and investment banking to deliver holistic wealth management solutions
  • Prospect and acquire new clients through community networking, referrals, and branch-based events in Mercer Island, WA
  • Monitor client portfolios, execute investment recommendations, and adjust strategies based on market conditions and client needs
  • Ensure all advisory activities comply with SEC, FINRA, and internal J.P. Morgan policies

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field
  • Active Series 7 and Series 66 (or equivalent) securities licenses, or willingness to obtain within 120 days of hire
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial services, wealth management, or client advisory roles
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships in a high-net-worth environment
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, investment strategies, and regulatory compliance
  • Ability to work independently in a branch-based setting while collaborating with team members
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certifications such as CFP (Certified Financial Planner) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst)
