Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized financial planning and investment advice to high-net-worth individuals and families in the Newport Beach area
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients through regular consultations and proactive outreach
  • Conduct comprehensive financial needs assessments, including retirement planning, estate strategies, and tax optimization
  • Recommend and implement tailored investment portfolios using J.P. Morgan's suite of wealth management products
  • Collaborate with branch teams, including bankers and specialists, to deliver holistic financial solutions
  • Ensure all advisory activities comply with SEC, FINRA, and internal J.P. Morgan policies
  • Prospect and acquire new clients through networking, referrals, and community engagement in Balboa and surrounding areas
  • Monitor market trends and client portfolios to adjust strategies and mitigate risks
  • Educate clients on J.P. Morgan Wealth Management services, including digital tools and advisory platforms
  • Document client interactions and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field
  • Active and valid Series 7 and Series 66 (or equivalent) licenses
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in wealth management, financial advising, or client-facing roles in the financial services industry
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships in a high-net-worth environment
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, investment strategies, and regulatory compliance
  • Ability to work in a branch-based setting and collaborate with a team of advisors and support staff

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certifications such as CFP (Certified Financial Planner) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst)
