Key Responsibilities

  • Recommend and implement tailored investment portfolios using J.P. Morgan's suite of wealth management products
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including bankers and specialists, to deliver holistic financial solutions
  • Prospect and acquire new clients through networking, referrals, and community involvement in San Diego
  • Ensure all advisory activities comply with SEC, FINRA, and J.P. Morgan's regulatory standards
  • Monitor client portfolios and market conditions to adjust strategies and mitigate risks
  • Educate clients on J.P. Morgan's digital tools and resources for self-directed wealth management
  • Track and report on client satisfaction, portfolio performance, and business development metrics

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field
  • Active and valid Series 7 and Series 66 (or equivalent) securities licenses
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in financial advisory, wealth management, or client-facing roles within the financial services industry
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships in a high-net-worth environment
  • Strong understanding of comprehensive financial planning, investment strategies, and regulatory compliance
  • Ability to work in a branch-based setting in North Central San Diego, CA, with flexibility for local travel
  • Clean U4 and background check with no disqualifying disclosures

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certifications such as CFP (Certified Financial Planner) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst)
  • Experience working with J.P. Morgan Chase products and services or similar large financial institutions
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, given the diverse client base in San Diego
