Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive financial planning and personalized advice to individuals and families, focusing on wealth accumulation, preservation, and transfer
  • Develop and implement investment strategies tailored to clients' goals, risk tolerance, and life stages using J.P. Morgan's proprietary tools and resources
  • Prospect, acquire, and retain high-net-worth clients within the Valparaiso, IN branch and surrounding Northwest Indiana communities
  • Conduct regular client reviews, portfolio assessments, and adjustments to ensure alignment with market conditions and client objectives
  • Collaborate with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management teams, including investment specialists and estate planning experts, to deliver holistic solutions
  • Educate clients on financial products such as retirement plans, insurance, lending, and alternative investments offered by J.P. Morgan Chase
  • Maintain compliance with all federal and state regulations, including FINRA, SEC, and internal J.P. Morgan policies
  • Build referral networks with branch bankers, attorneys, accountants, and other professionals to expand client base
  • Utilize digital platforms and CRM systems to track client interactions, manage portfolios, and generate performance reports
  • Participate in community events and business development activities to enhance J.P. Morgan's presence in Northwest Indiana

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field
  • Active and valid Series 7 and Series 66 (or 63 and 65) securities licenses
  • At least 3 years of experience in financial services, wealth management, or client advisory roles
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships in a retail banking or advisory environment
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, investment strategies, and regulatory compliance in the wealth management industry
  • Ability to work in a branch-based setting and engage with high-net-worth individuals and families
  • Clean background check and compliance with FINRA and SEC regulations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certifications such as CFP (Certified Financial Planner) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst)
  • Experience working in the Midwest region, particularly Northwest Indiana, with knowledge of local economic factors
  • Previous role in a J.P. Morgan Chase branch or similar large financial institution
