Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive financial planning and personalized advice to individuals and families, focusing on wealth accumulation, preservation, and transfer
  • Develop and implement investment strategies tailored to clients' goals, risk tolerance, and life stages using J.P. Morgan's resources
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with private clients through proactive outreach and exceptional service in the Parsippany branch
  • Conduct financial needs assessments, including retirement planning, estate planning, and tax strategies
  • Collaborate with J.P. Morgan specialists in banking, lending, and investment management to deliver holistic solutions
  • Monitor client portfolios and market conditions to recommend adjustments and ensure alignment with objectives
  • Ensure all advisory activities comply with regulatory standards, including FINRA, SEC, and internal J.P. Morgan policies
  • Prospect for new clients within the local community and refer opportunities to other J.P. Morgan business lines
  • Educate clients on J.P. Morgan Wealth Management products and services to enhance their financial well-being
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for client interactions and advisory recommendations

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field
  • Active and valid Series 7 and Series 66 (or 63 and 65) securities licenses
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial advisory, wealth management, or client-facing roles
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships in a financial services environment
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, investment strategies, and regulatory compliance
  • Ability to work in a branch-based setting in Parsippany, New Jersey
  • Clean background check and compliance with FINRA and SEC regulations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certifications such as CFP (Certified Financial Planner) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst)
  • Experience with high-net-worth individuals and families in wealth management
