Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized financial planning and investment advice to high-net-worth individuals and families in the Plymouth, MI area and surrounding communities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive wealth management strategies, including portfolio construction, retirement planning, and estate planning
  • Prospect and acquire new clients through branch referrals, community events, and networking within J.P. Morgan's ecosystem
  • Conduct regular client reviews to assess financial goals, adjust strategies, and ensure alignment with market conditions
  • Collaborate with J.P. Morgan specialists in banking, lending, and investment banking to deliver holistic solutions
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements, including documenting advice and transactions per FINRA and SEC guidelines
  • Educate clients on J.P. Morgan's suite of products, such as Chase Private Client services and J.P. Morgan Investment Management offerings
  • Monitor market trends and economic developments to proactively advise clients on opportunities and risks
  • Build long-term relationships to drive client retention and referrals within the local community
  • Participate in branch-based initiatives to enhance the overall client experience at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field
  • Active and valid Series 7 and Series 66 (or 63 and 65) securities licenses
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial services, wealth management, or client advisory roles
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships in a retail banking or investment advisory environment
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, investment strategies, and regulatory compliance in the wealth management sector
  • Ability to work independently in a branch-based setting while collaborating with J.P. Morgan teams
  • Clean background check and compliance with FINRA and SEC regulations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certifications such as CFP (Certified Financial Planner) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst)
  • Experience with J.P. Morgan Chase products and services or similar high-net-worth client advisory roles
