Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized financial planning and investment advice to high-net-worth individuals and families in the Raleigh area
  • Develop and implement comprehensive wealth management strategies, including retirement planning, estate planning, and tax optimization
  • Prospect, acquire, and retain clients through branch-based networking, referrals, and community engagement
  • Conduct in-depth financial analyses and prepare customized recommendations using J.P. Morgan tools and resources
  • Collaborate with J.P. Morgan specialists in banking, lending, and investment banking to deliver holistic solutions
  • Monitor client portfolios, adjust strategies based on market conditions, and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards
  • Educate clients on J.P. Morgan Wealth Management offerings, such as alternative investments and sustainable investing options
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and adhere to J.P. Morgan's risk management protocols
  • Participate in local business development initiatives to grow the Raleigh branch's client base

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Active and valid Series 7 and Series 66 (or equivalent) securities licenses
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial advisory, wealth management, or client-facing roles
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships in a high-net-worth environment
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, investment strategies, and regulatory compliance
  • Ability to work independently in a branch-based setting while collaborating with team members
  • Clean regulatory history with no U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) or Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) violations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certifications such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
