Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized financial planning and investment advice to individuals and families, focusing on comprehensive wealth management solutions

  • Conduct financial needs assessments, recommend tailored investment portfolios, and monitor performance to align with client goals
  • Collaborate with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management teams to deliver integrated banking, lending, and advisory services
  • Ensure all advisory activities comply with SEC, FINRA, and internal J.P. Morgan policies
  • Prospect and acquire new clients through networking, referrals, and community engagement in the Oakland Rd and Brokaw Rd branches
  • Educate clients on market trends, risk management, and retirement planning strategies specific to the financial services landscape
  • Prepare and present financial reports, performance analyses, and portfolio reviews using J.P. Morgan's proprietary tools
  • Support branch operations by mentoring junior advisors and contributing to team sales targets
  • Stay abreast of industry regulations and economic developments to provide proactive advice

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field
  • Active and valid Series 7 and Series 66 (or equivalent) securities licenses
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in financial advisory, wealth management, or client-facing roles in the financial services industry
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships leading to asset growth
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, investment strategies, and regulatory compliance
  • Ability to work in a branch-based environment in San Jose, CA
  • Clean regulatory history with no U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) or Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) violations
