Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized financial planning and investment advice to high-net-worth individuals and families, tailoring solutions to their unique goals and risk tolerances
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with private clients, conducting regular reviews and proactive outreach to address evolving financial needs
  • Collaborate with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management teams, including investment specialists and bankers, to deliver holistic wealth management services
  • Identify opportunities for portfolio optimization, retirement planning, estate strategies, and philanthropic giving within the J.P. Morgan ecosystem
  • Conduct client meetings, seminars, and educational sessions to enhance financial literacy and promote J.P. Morgan's suite of products and services
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations, internal policies, and ethical standards in all client interactions
  • Prospect and acquire new clients through networking, referrals, and community involvement in the Stamford, CT area
  • Monitor market trends and economic conditions to adjust client portfolios and provide timely insights
  • Utilize J.P. Morgan's proprietary tools and platforms to analyze client data and generate customized financial reports
  • Contribute to branch goals by supporting team initiatives and fostering a client-centric culture

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field
  • Active and valid Series 7 and Series 66 (or 63 and 65) securities licenses
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial advisory, wealth management, or client-facing roles within the financial services industry
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships in a high-net-worth environment
  • Strong understanding of comprehensive financial planning, investment strategies, and risk management
  • Ability to comply with all regulatory requirements from FINRA, SEC, and other relevant bodies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with affluent clients

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certifications such as CFP (Certified Financial Planner) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst)
  • Experience working with J.P. Morgan Chase or similar large financial institutions
  • Knowledge of estate planning, tax strategies, and retirement planning for high-net-worth individuals
