Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized financial planning and investment advice to high-net-worth individuals and families, tailoring solutions to their unique goals and risk profiles
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with private clients through regular consultations, portfolio reviews, and proactive outreach
  • Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships by recommending J.P. Morgan's suite of wealth management products, including banking, lending, and investment services
  • Conduct comprehensive financial needs assessments, including retirement planning, estate strategies, and tax-efficient investing
  • Collaborate with J.P. Morgan branch teams, specialists, and external partners to deliver holistic advisory services
  • Ensure all advisory activities comply with J.P. Morgan's policies, FINRA regulations, and fiduciary standards
  • Prospect and acquire new clients within the Vancouver, WA market through networking, referrals, and community engagement
  • Monitor market trends and economic conditions to adjust client portfolios and provide timely insights
  • Prepare and present investment proposals, performance reports, and educational resources to clients
  • Contribute to branch goals by supporting team initiatives and participating in local business development efforts

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field
  • Active and valid Series 7 and Series 66 (or 63 and 65) securities licenses
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in financial services, wealth management, or client advisory roles
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships in a retail banking or investment advisory environment
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, investment strategies, and regulatory compliance in the wealth management industry
  • Ability to work independently in a branch-based setting while collaborating with J.P. Morgan teams
  • Clean regulatory history and adherence to FINRA and SEC standards

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certifications such as CFP (Certified Financial Planner) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst)
