Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized financial planning and investment advice to high-net-worth individuals and families in the Virginia Beach, Norfolk, and Chesapeake areas
  • Develop and implement comprehensive wealth management strategies, including retirement planning, estate planning, and tax optimization
  • Prospect and acquire new clients through branch referrals, community events, and digital outreach within J.P. Morgan's network
  • Conduct regular client reviews to assess portfolio performance and adjust strategies based on market conditions and client goals
  • Collaborate with J.P. Morgan specialists, such as tax advisors and estate planners, to deliver holistic financial solutions
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including FINRA and SEC guidelines, while maintaining accurate documentation

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field
  • Active Series 7 and 66 (or 63 and 65) securities licenses
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial services, wealth management, or client advisory roles
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships in a branch or advisory setting
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, investment strategies, and regulatory compliance
  • Ability to work in Virginia Beach, Norfolk, and Chesapeake, VA, with flexibility for client meetings across locations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certifications such as CFP (Certified Financial Planner) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst)
