Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with private clients in the Westchester West region, providing personalized financial advice
  • Conduct comprehensive financial planning assessments, including investment strategies, retirement planning, and estate planning
  • Prospect and acquire new clients through branch networking, referrals, and community events in Mount Vernon, NY
  • Collaborate with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management teams to deliver integrated banking and investment solutions
  • Monitor client portfolios and adjust strategies based on market conditions and client goals
  • Ensure all advisory activities comply with J.P. Morgan's ethical standards and regulatory requirements
  • Educate clients on J.P. Morgan's suite of wealth management products, including alternative investments and lending solutions
  • Participate in branch initiatives to enhance client experience and drive business growth
  • Analyze financial data and market trends to recommend tailored investment opportunities
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and financial plans using J.P. Morgan's proprietary platforms

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field
  • Active Series 7 and Series 66 (or 63 and 65) licenses
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial advisory or wealth management roles
  • Proven track record of client acquisition and retention in a branch-based environment
  • Strong understanding of comprehensive financial planning principles
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with branch teams
  • Compliance with FINRA and SEC regulations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certifications such as CFP (Certified Financial Planner) or CFA
  • Experience working with high-net-worth individuals and families in the New York metropolitan area
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or other languages spoken in Westchester County
  • Prior experience with J.P. Morgan Chase systems and products
