Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to launch new wealth management initiatives in the Los Angeles market
  • Conduct comprehensive training programs for financial advisors and branch teams on J.P. Morgan products and best practices
  • Manage end-to-end projects, including timelines, budgets, and stakeholder coordination to ensure successful implementation
  • Drive field growth by identifying opportunities, building partnerships, and increasing client acquisition in targeted segments
  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to recommend enhancements to wealth management offerings
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align business initiatives with J.P. Morgan's overall strategic goals
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics, providing insights to optimize business outcomes
  • Foster relationships with external partners, such as RIAs and high-net-worth clients, to expand J.P. Morgan's presence
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and internal policies in all business activities

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in business development, sales, or consulting within the financial services industry
  • Proven track record of launching successful business initiatives and driving revenue growth
  • Strong project management experience, including managing cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Deep knowledge of wealth management products, services, and regulatory requirements
  • Ability to travel up to 50% within the Los Angeles region and occasionally nationally

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree in Finance or Business Administration
  • Experience working at a major financial institution like J.P. Morgan Chase or a competitor
  • Series 7, Series 63, or other relevant FINRA licenses
  • Background in training and developing financial advisors or sales teams
