Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary lending expert and point of contact for Financial Advisors and high-net-worth clients, providing tailored lending solutions to support wealth management strategies
  • Analyze client financial profiles, including assets, income, and risk tolerance, to recommend appropriate lending products such as securities-based lines of credit and real estate financing
  • Collaborate with J.P. Morgan's credit risk teams to underwrite and approve loans, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines
  • Educate Financial Advisors on lending capabilities and best practices to enhance client portfolio liquidity and investment opportunities
  • Monitor lending portfolios for performance, identifying opportunities for portfolio optimization or risk mitigation
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, such as appraisers and legal counsel, to facilitate seamless loan executions
  • Contribute to business development by identifying cross-selling opportunities for J.P. Morgan Wealth Management services
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations on lending trends, client outcomes, and market conditions for senior leadership
  • Ensure all lending activities adhere to J.P. Morgan's ethical standards and anti-money laundering protocols
  • Mentor junior team members on lending best practices and client advisory techniques

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in lending, credit analysis, or wealth management within the financial services industry
  • Proven track record in client-facing roles, particularly in high-net-worth advisory services
  • Deep knowledge of lending products, including securities-based lending, margin loans, and mortgage financing
  • Series 7 and Series 63 licenses, or equivalent FINRA registrations
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements such as SEC, FINRA, and banking compliance standards
  • Ability to travel up to 20% for client meetings and team collaborations

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree in Finance or related discipline
  • Experience working with J.P. Morgan Chase or similar bulge-bracket financial institutions
