Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary lending expert and point of contact for Financial Advisors and high-net-worth clients, providing tailored lending solutions
  • Analyze client financial profiles to recommend appropriate lending products, including securities-based loans and lines of credit
  • Collaborate with Financial Advisors to integrate lending strategies into comprehensive wealth management plans
  • Conduct credit risk assessments and due diligence to ensure compliance with JP Morgan's risk management policies
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, such as credit approval teams and product specialists
  • Monitor lending portfolios for performance, identifying opportunities for portfolio optimization or risk mitigation
  • Educate clients and advisors on lending options, market trends, and regulatory changes impacting wealth strategies
  • Prepare detailed lending proposals and presentations for client meetings and internal reviews
  • Support business development efforts by identifying cross-selling opportunities for JP Morgan's wealth management services

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in lending, credit analysis, or wealth management within the financial services industry
  • Series 7 and Series 63 licenses (or equivalent FINRA registrations)
  • Proven track record of managing high-net-worth client relationships and lending portfolios
  • In-depth knowledge of securities-based lending, margin loans, and alternative investment financing
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements including SEC, FINRA, and banking compliance standards
  • Experience with financial modeling and risk assessment tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree such as MBA or Master's in Finance
  • Prior experience at a major financial institution like JP Morgan Chase or similar
  • Certification as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Lending Professional
