Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary lending expert and point of contact for Financial Advisors and clients in J.P. Morgan Wealth Management
  • Provide tailored lending solutions, including securities-based lending and customized credit facilities, to meet client financial goals
  • Conduct comprehensive credit assessments and risk analyses to ensure compliance with J.P. Morgan's risk management standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including portfolio managers and compliance officers, to structure complex lending deals
  • Educate Financial Advisors on lending products and strategies to enhance client advisory services
  • Monitor client lending portfolios, identifying opportunities for portfolio optimization and risk mitigation
  • Drive business development by identifying lending opportunities within existing client relationships
  • Ensure all lending activities adhere to federal and state regulations, as well as J.P. Morgan's internal policies
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations on lending performance for senior management and client reviews

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in lending, credit analysis, or wealth management within the financial services industry
  • Series 7 and Series 63 licenses or equivalent
  • Proven track record in client-facing roles, particularly in high-net-worth advisory services
  • In-depth knowledge of lending products, including securities-based lending, mortgages, and margin loans
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements such as SEC, FINRA, and banking compliance standards

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MBA) or certifications like CFA or CFP
  • Experience working with J.P. Morgan's wealth management platforms or similar enterprise systems
  • Prior role in a large financial institution with exposure to ultra-high-net-worth clients
  • Bilingual proficiency, particularly in Spanish, to serve diverse client bases in Texas
