Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive wealth planning strategies for high-net-worth clients, focusing on tax optimization, trusts, and estate planning
  • Collaborate with J.P. Morgan advisors and leadership to integrate tax and estate insights into client portfolios and advisory services
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of clients' financial situations, including tax liabilities, estate distributions, and philanthropic goals
  • Communicate complex tax and legal concepts clearly to clients, ensuring alignment with their long-term wealth objectives
  • Stay abreast of evolving U.S. tax laws, trusts & estates regulations, and industry trends to provide proactive advice
  • Partner with internal teams, including legal and compliance, to ensure all planning recommendations adhere to JP Morgan standards
  • Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and planning documents for client meetings and internal reviews
  • Mentor associate planners and support business development efforts by contributing to client acquisition strategies
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling JP Morgan Wealth Management products, such as investment advisory and lending solutions
  • Ensure all client interactions and planning activities comply with SEC, FINRA, and other relevant regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Law, or a related field required; JD or CPA certification strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in wealth planning, estate planning, or tax advisory within the financial services industry
  • In-depth knowledge of U.S. tax laws, trusts and estates regulations, and financial planning principles
  • Active licensing such as CFP (Certified Financial Planner) or equivalent professional designation
  • Proven track record of advising high-net-worth clients on complex wealth management strategies
  • Experience working in a client-facing role at a major financial institution
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance in wealth advisory services

Preferred Qualifications
