Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to grow the JP Morgan Private Client affluent segment in the New York region
  • Lead a team of business development professionals, providing coaching, performance management, and strategic direction
  • Identify and pursue new client acquisition opportunities among high-net-worth individuals and families
  • Collaborate with Affluent leadership and other JP Morgan divisions to align on product offerings and market penetration goals
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and client needs to refine sales approaches and revenue targets
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key internal stakeholders, including investment advisors and product specialists
  • Drive the implementation of innovative sales tools and technologies to enhance client prospecting and conversion rates
  • Monitor and report on business development metrics, ensuring alignment with JP Morgan's overall growth objectives

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in business development, sales leadership, or client acquisition within the wealth management or private banking sector
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and expanding client portfolios in affluent or high-net-worth markets
  • Deep understanding of financial products including investment management, lending, and estate planning services
  • Strong leadership experience managing cross-functional teams in a high-stakes financial environment
  • Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses or equivalent FINRA registrations required
  • Extensive network within the financial services industry, particularly in the New York metropolitan area
