Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for high-net-worth clients, delivering personalized financial advice and solutions tailored to their unique needs
  • Develop and maintain deep relationships with clients in the Palo Alto area, identifying opportunities to expand their use of JPMorgan Private Bank services
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including investment advisors, lenders, and specialists, to create comprehensive wealth management strategies
  • Conduct regular client meetings, portfolio reviews, and financial planning sessions to ensure alignment with client goals and risk tolerance
  • Prospect and acquire new clients through networking, referrals, and community involvement in the tech-savvy Palo Alto region
  • Monitor market trends and regulatory changes to provide proactive insights and recommendations to clients
  • Drive business growth by achieving or exceeding sales and retention targets for banking, lending, and investment products
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including KYC, AML, and fiduciary standards

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial services, wealth management, or client relationship management
  • Active Series 7 and Series 66 (or 63 and 65) securities licenses, or willingness to obtain within 120 days of hire
  • Proven track record of managing high-net-worth client portfolios and achieving sales targets
  • Strong understanding of investment products, banking services, and financial planning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build long-term client relationships
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree such as MBA or CFP certification
  • Experience working with ultra-high-net-worth individuals in the Silicon Valley market
  • Familiarity with JPMorgan Chase's private banking products and services
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin or another language common in Palo Alto's diverse client base
  • Prior leadership experience in mentoring junior advisors or team coordination
