About the Role

As a Practice Management Consultant in our Denver, CO office, you will play a pivotal role in elevating advisor performance by instilling core Practice Management Behaviors. This includes fostering expertise in Business Development to attract and grow client bases, Business Management for operational efficiency, Financial Planning for holistic client needs, Investment Acumen to navigate complex markets, Relationship Management to build lasting trust, and Service Excellence to exceed expectations. Reporting to the Regional Practice Management Director, you will work closely with a dynamic team to support advisors across the Rocky Mountain region, leveraging J.P. Morgan's world-class resources and technology platforms. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve conducting in-depth needs assessments with Financial Advisors, designing tailored development programs, and delivering hands-on coaching sessions—both virtual and in-person. You will analyze key performance indicators using J.P. Morgan's proprietary analytics tools to identify growth opportunities and implement data-driven solutions that align with our firm's commitment to sustainable wealth creation. By collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product specialists and compliance experts, you will ensure that all initiatives adhere to the highest regulatory standards while promoting a culture of continuous improvement. This role demands a proactive approach to staying ahead of industry trends, such as sustainable investing and digital advisory tools, to keep our advisors at the forefront of the financial services landscape. Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Financial Advisors and field leadership to implement Practice Management Behaviors, including Business Development, Business Management, Financial Planning, Investment Acumen, Relationship Management, and Service Excellence
  • Deliver customized training sessions, workshops, and coaching to enhance advisors' skills in client acquisition and retention strategies
  • Analyze advisor performance metrics and provide actionable insights to drive business growth and efficiency
  • Develop and deploy tools, resources, and best practices tailored to J.P. Morgan Wealth Management's proprietary platforms
  • Facilitate peer-to-peer learning and networking opportunities among advisors to foster a collaborative environment
  • Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and integration into practice management frameworks
  • Partner with internal teams to create innovative solutions for advisor productivity and client experience enhancement
  • Conduct assessments and feedback sessions to measure the impact of practice management initiatives on advisor success
  • Support the onboarding and ongoing development of new Financial Advisors through structured mentorship programs

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in wealth management, financial advisory, or practice management consulting
  • Proven track record of supporting financial advisors in business development and client relationship management
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, investment strategies, and regulatory compliance in the financial services industry
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Ability to travel up to 50% within the region to support field offices
  • Series 7 and Series 66 licenses or equivalent FINRA registrations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MBA) or certification such as CFP (Certified Financial Planner) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst)
  • Experience working within a large financial institution like J.P. Morgan Chase or similar
