Key Responsibilities

  • Execute trades for ETF portfolios, focusing on fixed income and equity-based products to optimize returns and manage risk
  • Monitor market conditions, liquidity, and pricing discrepancies to identify trading opportunities in real-time
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers and analysts to develop and implement trading strategies aligned with client objectives
  • Analyze ETF performance metrics, including tracking error, bid-ask spreads, and NAV deviations
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory standards, and best execution practices
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of trading models and algorithms for ETF execution
  • Liaise with internal teams such as sales, research, and operations to support seamless trade execution
  • Prepare reports on trading activities, performance attribution, and market insights for senior management
  • Assist in risk assessment and mitigation for ETF positions, including stress testing scenarios
  • Stay updated on industry developments, regulatory changes, and innovations in ETF products

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field
  • 1-2 years of experience in trading, financial markets, or asset management, preferably with exposure to ETFs or fixed income products
  • Strong understanding of exchange-traded funds (ETFs), market dynamics, and trading mechanisms
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and quantitative analysis
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and trends
  • Eligibility to work in the UK, with knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements such as MiFID II
  • CFA Level 1 or equivalent certification in progress or completed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in ETF trading or portfolio management at a major financial institution
  • Familiarity with JPMorgan Chase's proprietary trading systems or similar platforms
  • Advanced degree (Master's) in Finance or Quantitative Finance
  • Previous internship or role in fixed income or equity markets
  • Fluency in additional languages relevant to European markets
